Renew System于1日宣布，已于上月30日与忠清南道老年人俱乐部协会签署商业合作协议。来自忠清南道15个市郡的老年人俱乐部负责人（以下简称“老年人俱乐部”）出席了签约仪式，韩国化学技术研究院的赵正模博士（该技术的原创开发者）作为嘉宾出席，为该技术的商业化提供支持。

根据协议，老年人俱乐部将负责在当地收集和粉碎废塑料，并将其供应给Renew System。Renew System随后会将这些材料投入其专有的技术流程中，将其转化为高质量的再生原材料。尤其值得一提的是，此次合作有望推动老年人就业质量的提升，因为老年人将作为“资源循环专家”负责初期流程。

Renew System的核心技术“低温甲醇解聚技术”是一种创新方法，可在常压下于60°C以下的温度下完全分解废弃PET。与现有超过200°C的高温高压工艺相比，该技术显著降低了能耗和碳排放。Renew System已于去年9月成功完成示范工厂的调试。此次达成的供应链协议有望成为该技术全面商业化的关键驱动力。

Renew System Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Jong-yong), a company specializing in chemical recycling, is partnering with senior infrastructure throughout Chungcheongnam-do to establish a waste plastic resource circulation ecosystem.

Renew System announced on the 1st that it signed a business agreement with the Chungnam Senior Club Association on the 30th of last month. The signing ceremony was attended by the heads of senior clubs from 15 cities and counties in Chungnam (hereinafter referred to as "Senior Clubs"), and Dr. Cho Jeong-mo of the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology, the developer of the original technology, attended as a guest to lend support to the commercialization of the technology.

Under the agreement, Senior Clubs will professionally collect and crush waste plastics within the region and supply them to Renew System. Renew System will then feed these materials into its proprietary technological processes to transform them into high-quality recycled raw materials. In particular, this collaboration is expected to drive the qualitative growth of employment for the elderly, as seniors will take charge of the initial processes as "resource circulation experts."

Renew System's core technology, "Low-Temperature Methanolisis Depolymerization Technology," is an innovative method that completely decomposes waste PET under atmospheric pressure conditions below 60°C. Characterized by significantly reduced energy consumption and carbon emissions compared to existing high-temperature, high-pressure processes exceeding 200°C, Renew System successfully completed the commissioning of its demonstration demo plant last September. The supply chain secured this time is expected to serve as a key driving force for full-scale commercialization.

"This agreement establishes an industrial model where Renew System's technological capabilities are combined with local infrastructure to simultaneously generate economic profits and environmental value," said Lee Jong-yong, CEO of Renew System. "We will expand our supply chain nationwide to lead the chemical recycling market."

리뉴시스템은 지난달 30일 충남시니어클럽협회와 업무협약을 체결했다고 1일 밝혔다. 협약식에는 충남 15개 시·군 시니어클럽(이하 시니어클럽) 기관장들이 참석했으며, 원천기술 개발자인 한국화학연구원 조정모 박사가 내빈으로 참석해 기술적 상용화에 힘을 실었다.

협약에 따라 시니어클럽은 지역 내 폐플라스틱을 전문적으로 수거·분쇄하여 리뉴시스템에 공급한다. 리뉴시스템은 이를 자사 독보적인 기술 공정에 투입해 고품질 재생원료로 재탄생시킨다. 특히 이번 협력은 어르신들이 '자원순환 전문가'로서 초기 공정을 담당해 노인 일자리의 질적 성장을 견인할 것으로 기대된다.

리뉴시스템의 핵심 기술인 '저온 메탄올리시스 해중합 기술'은 60℃ 이하의 상압 조건에서 폐PET를 완전히 분해하는 혁신 공법이다. 기존 200℃ 이상 고온·고압 공정 대비 에너지 소비와 탄소 배출을 획기적으로 줄인 것이 특징으로, 리뉴시스템은 지난해 9월 실증 설비 데모플랜트 시운전을 성공적으로 마쳤다. 이번에 확보된 공급망은 본격적인 상업화 진입의 핵심 동력이 될 전망이다.

越南目前约有7315座水坝和水库正在运行。这些水坝和水库是国家核心基础设施，承担着农业供水、水力发电和防洪等重要功能，老化导致的渗漏问题直接关系到结构安全。该协议意义重大，因为它代表了一种综合性的、基于技术的基础设施运维（维护）出口模式，该模式不仅限于简单的材料出口，还包括防水检测设备的转让、本地技术人员的培训、专家派遣以及本地化技术的联合开发。Renew System计划分阶段推广该计划：试点应用→建立数据库→设备转让和技术引进→全国推广。

<strong>差异化技术：‘非固化凝胶’…… 结构寿命延长方案</strong>

Renew System 的核心产品“Turbo Seal”是一种高粘结力、非固化的凝胶型防水材料。与传统的固化型防水材料（如聚氨酯和环氧树脂）不同，它具有不硬化的特性，即使在结构发生微小移动或水压发生变化时，也能保持紧密密封。业内将这项技术评价为“自适应防水层”的概念。它能够与结构内部完美融合，显著降低再次渗漏的可能性。作为一种旨在延长结构寿命而非进行简单维修的维护技术，它有望成为海外基础设施市场的差异化优势。

Approximately 7,315 dams and reservoirs are currently in operation in Vietnam. As these are core national infrastructures responsible for agricultural water supply, hydroelectric power generation, and flood control, leakage issues resulting from aging are directly linked to structural safety. This agreement is significant as it represents a comprehensive technology-based infrastructure O&amp;M (maintenance) export model that goes beyond simple material exports to include the transfer of waterproofing testing equipment, training of local technical personnel, dispatch of experts, and joint development of locally tailored technologies. Renew System plans to expand the initiative in stages: pilot application → database establishment → equipment transfer and technology internalization → nationwide application.

<strong>Differentiated Technology: 'Non-curing Gel'… Structural Life Extension Solution</strong>

Renew System's core product, 'Turbo Seal,' is a high-adhesion, non-curing gel-based waterproofing material. Unlike conventional curing waterproofing materials such as urethane and epoxy, it possesses the characteristic of not hardening, maintaining a tight seal even with minute structural movements and changes in water pressure. The industry evaluates this technology as a concept of a 'self-adaptive waterproofing layer.' It is characterized by integrating with the interior of the structure and significantly reducing the possibility of re-leakage. As a maintenance technology designed to extend the lifespan of structures rather than simple repair work, it is expected to serve as a differentiating factor in the overseas infrastructure market.

<strong>Bridgehead for Expanding into the Southeast Asian Infrastructure Market</strong>

Renew System has a track record of resolving leakage issues at a hydroelectric power plant in Indonesia in 2021. This agreement with Vietnam is an extension of the strategy to expand into the Southeast Asian infrastructure market. Given that Vietnam is regarded as a hub for water resource infrastructure in Southeast Asia, the industry believes this cooperation could open the possibility for the technology to spread to neighboring countries in the future.
